Conference: Choice under Unawareness: Information, Behaviors and Markets

Online conference, 28-29 October 2021, from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CET

The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic demonstrated once again that many decisions are made in a state of unawareness. Unawareness arises when decision-makers cannot even conceive of the contingencies that affect the outcomes of their decisions. The conference will review the recent advances in modeling decision-making under unawareness, the applications of these models to financial markets, information economics and risk-taking behavior.

The conference is free of charge, and open to all.

The annual European Safety and Reliability Conference ESREL stems from a European initiative merging several national Conferences into a major yearly conference under the auspices of the European Safety and Reliability Association (ESRA).

The 25th edition of the conference, ESREL 2015, will provide a forum for presentation and discussion of scientific works covering theories and methods in the field of risk, safety and reliability, and their application to a wide range of industrial, civil and social sectors and problem areas. ESREL 2015 will also be an opportunity for researchers and practitioners, academics and engineers to meet, exchange ideas and gain insights from each other.

About ESREL

Update

ESREL 2015 promises to be the largest ESREL conference to date! More than 850 abstracts were submitted, followed by 650 submitted full papers. The Technical Committee reviewed all submitted papers and accepted about 580 full papers for publication in the ESREL 2015 proceedings and presentation at the Conference. This will be a major event for the risk and reliability analysis disciplines worldwide!
